Entry Description: Much like an elaborate and ever-changing kaleidoscope, Carbon Career & Technical Institute is composed of a multitude of unique individuals whose whole is greater than the sum of its parts. We are scholars, tradespeople, artists, and craftsmen. We are spirited, motivated, and talented. We are a multi-faceted pattern of colorful characters, details, and perspectives. This book is a reflection of the 2015 school year from the viewpoint of CCTI and its students, faculty, and staff.

4th Prize:

Anderson County High School 2015 Yearbook

Entry Description: The school saw several changes in the past year. The theme ADVANCING spoke to the changes that had occurred.

2nd Place:

Lincoln College Preparatory Academy 2015 Yearbook

Entry Description: The design was inspired by modern magazines when deciding on a colors scheme and page layouts. The theme of the yearbook was to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Lincoln College Prep.

5th Place:

Desert View High School Yearbook

Entry Description: the lines and school colors and spirit led to decided to go with leather and foil to represent our school spirit.

3rd Place:

HTLA High School 2015 Yearbook

Entry Description: The theme of our yearbook this year was REFLECT. We used this theme throughout our yearbook and the main design element we used were triangles. We also used filters over our pictures.

Entry Description: Our school is an Architecture and Engineering themed Charter School so we wanted to incorporate our school mascot with the theme of architecture and we came up with the idea of buildings rising from the tiger.

Entry Description: The girls were thinking of a creative was to highlight some quirky parts of their personalities. One decided to make a crime scene page with fake mug shot categorizing what theach girl would never be accused of. It was an adorable was to share something about each girl.

Entry Description: We are small elementary community school and this happy, silly, colorful design is perfect for us. We call it “Splash of happiness".Every page of the yearbook have lots of elements. We are busy learning, having fun and making memories! Every page is full of pictures, blurbs about events and quotes from students and parents. We have few pages design for our 5th graders to treasure memories we create together.

Entry Description: Candy was the theme for the school dance,festival and other things this year.

3rd Place:

Lakecrest Independent 2015 Yearbook

Entry Description: This year, our small private school decided to do away with textbooks for the most part, and introduced online textbooks to students by using innovative technological resources for teaching. Students in the upper grades used personal laptops, where the younger students were give access to tablets. So, our yearbook staff decided to incorporate that theme into this years yearbook including apps for section dividers, uses of photos as home screens behind the apps and various layouts, texting lingo, twitter feed, and google headers. It was definitely a fun yearbook to work on, and we are very pleased with the result!

Entry Description: The ways the children at our school get to school, get around the school’s neighborhood and throughout NYC.

Phoenix Ranch Elementary 2015 Yearbook

Entry Description: The Beatles Abbey Rd!! and it depicts our kids as they grow and move from one side of our campus to the other…so lower grades on the left and upper on the right so they get bigger as you cross…hope that makes sense!

3rd Place:

Long Beach Island PTA – ok 2015 Yearbook

Entry Description: Our talented Art teacher, Mrs. Lisa Benjamin had our 6th grade graduates take our school logo and make their own design – the way they see it. We love the outcome.

Abintra Montessori School 2015 Yearbook

Entry Description: Our school is located on 10 wooded acres and takes pride in the nature surrounding us. The students of this year’s yearbook wanted the theme to be about nature, specifically trees since the school logo is a tree. They wanted the students to make up the leaves and the teachers to be the roots.

2nd Place:

Sherman Elementary Yearbook

Entry Description: I wanted each child to be featured individually representing an answer they had in the survey the 5th graders had taken. I wanted these pages to be extra special and different from the rest of the yearbook.
